Survival Horror

We all know that without Capcom this genious catagory wouldn`t exist. Parasite Eve is like...well. Silent hill is like...uh huh!
But nothing is like RE the very mother of all survival horror games...at the beginning it was nto my style. Me and my friend used to play it together...alone..in the dark. We got into it because it`s capcom. And hey...the chara persona`s fuckin`rule!!!
I also wanted to play by my own for once. So i remembered silent hill2 being the scariest. So i bought SH 3 ac couple of weeks ago. Knowing it had to be extreme, i would gaint he courage to play all the others.
So...today i ordered Resident evil Zero and the remake of the first one.

I can`t wait...RE 4 is a must right now.

Uummm...what do youn guys think of this? Do any of you even like it?

Silent Hill bored me, it was slow and no real action.

Parasite Eve kinda improved but never got my attention

Dino Crisis 2 was kinda cool and had its jumpy moments but Resident Evil was the king of Survival Horror Games.

I always said Resident Evil 1 (PSX) was the scariest game, but now the remake on GameCube has beaten that with the scary feeling and amazing graphics to back it.

If no one has played Resident Evil (GC) or Resident Evil 0 (GC) your missing out badly.

Horror games are a classic, they don't suck like most movies and the replay value, well worth the money!

I never played the first PS games...only code veronica on the PS2 a little. Cus Zer0 and the REmake wasnt out yet.
But..now that i think of it. Parasite Eve was my first. The one that made me a fan...And I`m not ALL about Survival horror!!!
It`s just the deep storyline and characters that Squaresoft and Capcom provide. Silent Hill sucks...but...at least it`s something.

what?! omfg resident evil 2 is the greatest survival horror of all, ya haveta play and beat it if oyu truly are a fan of this genre.
Your spoiled by ps2 graphics tho, When it first came out this game had sweet graphics. Forget the graphics, this game is godly.

edit: and i did enjoy silent hill, 1 not 2.
